Special Construction-Technological Bureau "Technolog" of Saint-Petersburg State Institute of Technology (Technical University). Founded in 1963 on the base of Leningrad Institute of Technology named after Lensoviet.

Research-and-production organisation specialised in the development of the new chemical processes requiring specific scientific investigations and in the manufacturing of low-tonnage quantities of the chemical products.

Chemistry and technology of the organic nitrogen-containing substances and of the polymeric composition materials.

Scientific researches

Investigations of the reaction abilities and of the physical-chemical characteristics of the nitrogen-containing substances. Research and development of the methods of obtaining of the products of the complicated organic synthesis. Investigations of the processes of burning and detonation in the condensed systems.

Scientific and manufacturing resources

Modern equipment and devices for chemical and physical-chemical researches. Industrial equipment and remote-controlled technological lines for potentially hazardous processes.

Main products:

Products of the complicated organic synthesis:

  • Nitrogen-containing heterocyclic substances;
  • Nitrated alcyl- and aryl- substances containing various functional groups;
  • Polycyclic and condensed substances.

These products can be used as pharmaceutical substances, dyes, solidifies for polymers, corrosion inhibitors, glues, reagents for organic synthesis, components of the photomaterials.

Composition materials and devices:

  • Polymeric composition materials for protection from X-ray and various type of ionizating radiation;
  • Ultra-fine artificial diamonds and compositions based on them;
  • Abrasive porous polymeric compositions and products;
  • Aerosol generators and compositions for fire extinguishing, insecticide treatment of the grain and grain storage;
  • Pyroautomatic executing devices;
  • Pyrotechnical devices for various fireworks.

Research and development of the technological processes

  • Nitration and oxidation of the aromatic and aliphatic substances;
  • Heterocyclisation of the nitrogen-containing substances;
  • Obtaining of the nitrogen-containing substances by means of reactions of substitution (azidation, amination, halogenation, alcylation, etc.);
